Hamara Kutub Khana

“Hamara Kutub Khana (Our Library)” is a project by Alif Laila Book Bus Society, a non-profit organization based in Pakistan. The initiative aims to promote a reading culture and provide access to books, especially in underserved communities.

This project is funded by the Children in Crisis Fund (IBBY) and currently operates 14 libraries across Sindh.

The project is implemented in 14 flood-affected schools in Jamshoro and Sukkur, Sindh. These schools are IRC (Indus Resource Center) adopted schools, with the organization serving as the implementing partner.

In these schools, Alif Laila has trained 28 librarians and teachers to help children improve their reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.
